ROITECH blast furnace repair valves and valves

As part of the overhaul of the blast furnace at one of the largest steel mills in Russia, 16 units of ROITECH shut-off and control valves were installed, including cold blast valves, control and shut-off valves.

The equipment supplies air and natural gas, which are critical media for the stable and safe operation of the blast furnace. Therefore, the key requirements of the project were high reliability, control accuracy and unconditional operational stability.

The project is implemented on a turnkey basis and includes:

• adaptation of technical solutions to customer requirements;
• production of equipment according to individual technical specifications;
• factory tests;
• joint acceptance with the participation of the customer’s specialists at the ROITECH production site in China.

Cold blast valves with a diameter of 1400 mm, fully compatible with the existing infrastructure, as well as large-sized valves with a diameter of 1200 mm, were manufactured according to individual specifications.

The equipment was manufactured ahead of schedule and in full compliance with technical requirements. The project confirmed the engineering expertise and effectiveness of ROITECH’s quality control system. For the metallurgical industry, where the reliability of equipment directly affects the continuity and safety of production, this is of key importance.
