Proven reliability: ROITECH SW tape

At one of the gold mines , the ROITECH SW belt was operated in conditions when heavy and sharp metal objects (excavator bucket teeth, pieces of rebar, etc.) regularly fell on it along with the ore from the bunker. The service life of previous solutions from another manufacturer averaged 2-3 months, while the length of longitudinal breaks of the tape could reach 250 meters.

After the implementation of ROITECH SW , the service life of the tape in the problem area increased by more than 3 times – up to 9 months. At the same time, the belt was replaced in accordance with the regulations, while maintaining its operating characteristics.

Tape with a solid woven frame

The ROITECH SW tape has a one-piece woven construction with a monolithic cord. A special type of weaving, the absence of local pinching of threads and an additional belt provide even load distribution and resistance to longitudinal tearing.

In the event of a belt breakdown, the metal object is fixed between the cross beams of the conveyor, which leads to an increase in the resistance to movement: the load on the drive and the current level increase. When the specified parameters are reached, the protection system reacts normally, ensuring that the conveyor stops under controlled conditions.

As a result, the impact is limited to the local area, and the situation remains manageable.
