Standard roller solutions on the market are characterized by dust entering the bearing assembly, which affects the service life of the rollers. In severe operating conditions, increased requirements are placed on rollers.
ROITECH takes these features into account in product development: the reliable protection of the bearings against dust and moisture and the clever design of the rollers ensure an increased mileage and increase the service life of the entire conveyor line as a whole.

Practice confirms the effectiveness of this approach.
The key factors in the selection of a solution for a coal mine were the operating conditions typical for the industry: high conveyor speed (up to 5-6 m/s), heavy dust, temperature fluctuations and large volumes of overloading.
The optimal solution was ROITECH steel rollers.

Modification of the design for specific conditions made it possible to achieve stable operation without overheating and vibration, which led to an approximately twofold increase in the resource – from 4 to 8 months.

ROITECH offers tailor-made solutions for different areas and operating conditions.
In the loading area , ROITECH shock-absorbing rollers are used, which absorb shock loads and additionally protect the belt. Shock absorbing rollers are equipped with a rubber coating or various types of rubber outer rings.
In highly adhesive conditions, rollers made of ROITECH high-molecular polyethylene are used. They are resistant to build-up, rotate more easily even when stitched, and reduce the load on the drive and the risk of damage to the belt. If necessary, the rollers are equipped with a wear indicator.
These are standard operations that can be performed without a long line stop.
Pilot testing as a way to test the solution in real conditions
To prove the effectiveness of solutions in specific conditions, ROITECH provides rollers for pilot testing in the most loaded areas. This allows you to evaluate the result in real operation and make a decision based on actual data.
