They are suitable for transporting materials over long distances in mines, ports, electric power, chemicals, coal mines, etc. A significant part of the energy used by the conveyor belt to move horizontally is used to overcome the resistance arising from the indentation of the conveyor belt during the passage of driven rollers and roller supports. The viscoelastic properties of the belt itself are an important factor affecting the rolling resistance when indented.
To reduce energy loss during indentation and save energy on the roller side of the roller supports, rubber with low rolling resistance is used.
At the request of the customer, belts can be manufactured taking into account the requirements for heat resistance, flammability and frost resistance, as for special-purpose belts.
